Suparinpei in Shotokan?
Jion different from the Shitei Kata?
What is the beginning of the Kumite match?

This is the first work by Kinichi Mashimo of the Keio Gymnasium Karate Club Thursday party, which was directly instructed by the father of the karate world, Gichin Funakoshi. The members of the Thursday party continue to study and hand down the Kata inherited from Master Funakoshi.

From such traditional Kata, 20 carefully selected Katas are fully open to the public! Don’t miss “Hyakuhachi,” which is a Shotokan version of Goju-ryu and Shito-ryu Suparinpei under the supervision of Master Funakoshi. In addition, valuable information such as “Karate way for middle ages”, “What you can learn in Kata” and “Beginning of Kumite match” obtained from the author’s more than 60 years of karate life is also posted.
